Mustang wheels blacked out

We decided to match the new front hubs to the color of the frame. Result, one of a kind durable powder coated sprint car hubs.

What better way to put coatings to the test than a dirt sprint car on the local Indiana dirt tracks. Pictured above: Powder coated chassis, components. High temp ceramic coated racing headers(temps above 1200 degrees), thermal displacement coating on radiator and rear end housing.

Xtreme High Temp Coating

Diesel truck exhaust manifold coated with our extreme black ceramic coating.  This coating can withstand temps up to 2000 degrees.

This coating also keeps the heat in the exhaust system, resulting in cooler under hood temps and more HP

Tried and true chassis coating.

For all you dirt track racers.

If you are looking for the most durable chassis powder coating, ask about our millennium flat black.  It is a poly-urethane blend of powder that outperforms typical polyester powder coatings.  It is a much harder finish, and goes on thinner, making it less prone to get rock chips.  In addition to its durability, it also requires less maitenance than glossy colors.  Fingerprints, grease, and smudges will be less noticeable than colors that reflect a lot of light.

Protective coating

Thermoplastic protective coating. This is a plastisol like coating applied by Pace Performance Coatings. It is applied about three times thicker than standard powder coating, has better impact resistance, better chemical resistance, and is non conductive. In this picture, an oil filter guard was coated to prevent damage to the filter on a dirt sprint car.

Chemical resistant powder coating

Powder coating is very similar to liquid paint in the sense that there are different types of powder; polyesters, epoxies, urethanes, etc.  Each type of powder has its own unique characteristics.  Polyester powders are the best all around powder, and is what we use the majority of the time.

Polyester powders have a fair resistance to chemicals, but not great.  If you have an application you would like powder coated that needs to be resistant to gasoline, solvents, etc then we can coat it with an epoxy powder.  Epoxy powders have a great resistance to chemicals, but they also have a great downfall; No resistance to UV light.  This means the parts cannot be kept outside, or in direct sunlight.  Colors are also limited in epoxy powder, but the basics are available.

Epoxy powder coating applications:

Gas tank, solvent tank, intake manifold, engine stand, laboratory equipment, shelving, etc.
